Meet Scott Kashnow, DBFA Board President

Picture

Scott Kashnow has lived in and around Baltimore his whole life, in many different neighborhoods including Locust Point, Hampden, Pigtown, Pikesville and BelAir, before settling in southwest Baltimore City.
He is a Union Trained Carpenter with experience as a project manager, he holds a Master’s Degree in Information Systems, and he's presently employed at the Maryland Department of Health as a programmer. He likes to build stuff. He has been a member of the board of DBFA since 2012 and deeply believes that Baltimore is good for families and families are good for Baltimore.
Scott serves his neighborhood as the Vice President of the Franklin Square Community Association. He also serves on the board of AHC Greater Baltimore, as the Vice President for the Friends of Carroll Park, and as a steering committee member for the Baltimore Neighborhood Indicators Alliance. He co-founded the Southwest Partnership in 2011, and supports the organization as the Secretary of the Board and the Chair of the Preservation Committee. He lives in Franklin Square with his wife and their two sons. Two dogs and one cat also call their 150-year-old rowhouse "home" but are not much help with repairs and renovations.

Email the DBFA Board President.
