Eileen Wold is a conceptual visual artist whose research focuses on issues of sustainability in landscape, energy production, and urban environments. Wold received her MFA from Maryland Institute College of Art and has been a professor of Visual Arts at several Baltimore Universities. She has two children and has lived in Baltimore City for ten years.

Scott Kashnow is a Baltimore native working for the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development as an application developer. In 2007, Scott earned his Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and his Master of Information Systems in 2010. Scott serves his neighborhood as the Vice President of the Franklin Square Community Association. Kashnow also serves on the Baltimore City Local Senior Health Advisory Board - Health Improvement Planning Council. He is a founding member of three community organizations: Friends of West Baltimore Squares; the West Baltimore Strategic Alliance; and the Southwest Partnership.
Jonathan Kucskar, Esq.
Senior Advisor Maryland Public Service Commission
Jon Kucskar currently serves as a Senior Advisor at the Maryland Public Service Commission. Previously, he served as Deputy Legal Counsel to Governor Martin O'Malley and a Senior Attorney at the U.S. Government Accountability Office. Jon is currently immediate past president of the Maryland Law School Alumni Board and a member of the Board of Directors of the Mount Royal Improvement Association. Jon moved to Baltimore to attend the University of Maryland School of Law and received his undergraduate degree from Boston College. Prior to law school, Jon worked as an AmeriCorps member, high school baseball umpire, full-time beer salesman, Democratic Party field organizer, and intern for the Buffalo Bills. For over seven years, he has lived in Bolton Hill with his wife, Emily Levenson; his daughters, and their rescued German Shorthaired Pointer, Truman
Dr. Rebecca Gershenson Smith, PhD, Founder
In 2007, Dr. Rebecca Gershenson Smith, founding Board President Judy O'Brien, founding Board Vice President Emily Hiller, along with the help of many others, envisioned a community development nonprofit focused on fostering and promoting family life in downtown Baltimore. During the organization's first two years, Rebecca took on many of the key roles in the organization, including defining advocacy priorities, developing the initial strategic plan, building key relationships with community leaders, directing DBFA's many committee chairs, and authoring the mission, vision statements, and core values that guided DBFA's first decade.
