Meet Tony Stephens, DBFA Exec. Director

Tony Stephens joined DBFA in November, 2018. Tony has worked for charitable and public interest non-profits for just under three decades. 
Much of his work has centered on empowering disadvantaged and marginalized groups. Over the past decade, he has worked extensively on civil and human rights campaigns. Most recently, he served as the Director of Advocacy and Governmental Affairs for the American Council of the Blind in Washington, DC. 
Tony holds an A.B. in Journalism and M.A. in Mass Communication from The University of Georgia. He also received a certificate in business management from George Mason University's Executive Program.
Tony moved to the Federal Hill neighborhood in 2017 with his wife and two young sons who attend public school in the neighborhood.
